Make sure your profile on Instagram is public. Many people have a private profile without even knowing it. Then the posts you publish don’t reach people outside your followers. 

Go to settings . Select “Settings and privacy”. Check if your profile is public.

If you run a business, it’s a good idea to switch to a business account.

Turn on the option to upload video in high quality.

The quality of your content on Instagram does matter. So if you’ve received a high-quality video from us, it’s worth keeping that quality on Instagram. 

How to do it? Go to settings. Select “Settings and privacy”. Select “Media quality”. Check if the option to add video in high quality is turned on.

1. Add videos directly from the app. 

This allows you to take advantage of the additional settings that the app offers, especially Instagram. Open the Instagram app to add a video and select “Reel” from the strip. It is very important that you add the video in this category.

2. Add a description; this works good for SEO

It’s always a good idea to add a description to your video. This way you can give customers additional information, describe the video or at least write how they can get in touch with you. It is important that your first sentence is interesting so that the viewer wants to read the rest of the text. Remember to make your text readable. You can also add emoticons.  

 Update 2026: 

Hashtags on Instagram no longer work, and the head of Instagram himself has admitted that you no longer need to add them to your posts, because the platform’s algorithms are good at recognizing what’s in your photo or video.

3. Tag people or other businesses and add a contact button. 

If you want to tag people in the video then do it in the “Tag people” tab. 

You have two options here; 

• add a tag; then the tagged person’s profile can be seen in the badge in the video
• invite collaborators; if the profile accepts your invitation, then your video will also appear on their feed on Instagram.  *This is an option that is only available when you add video using the Instagram app. 

You can also add a contact button that will be visible below your video in the post. This is a great call to action, thanks to which the viewer can immediately send you a message and ask something. *This is an option that is only available when you add video using the Instagram app. 

4. Add topics that will help match your video with the viewers. 

So if, for example, your video is about clothes – then choose categories to match that topic. That way, there’s a big chance that algorithms will show your video to people who are most likely to be interested in your content.  *This is an option that is only available when you add video using the Instagram app.

5. Choose a location and let the video appear on Facebook as well 

It is worth in the location to show what city you are in. So if your company has an address in Amsterdam, you can simply mark the city or your full address in the location. 

Currently on Instagram there is also an option called “Recommended on Facebook”.

If you check this option, your video will also appear in Reels search and Facebook can show it to people who are on that platform. 

IMPORTANT: this will not make that your video will also be shown on your Facebook page. 

It is worth making sure that your feed is visually attractive and readable for the user. After all, your feed is the first impression you make on your new audience, and therefore also on your clients. 

When you add reels to Instagram, you can choose a thumbnail and adjust it to make it look good in both vertical and square format.

How to do it? 

Click on “Edit cover” and you will go to a new window where you can add a thumbnail. 

Here you have two options: 

• choose a thumbnail from a frame from the video
• or add a thumbnail that you have previously made and saved on your phone 

Then adjust the thumbnail, so that the most important information / elements are in the square. The square indicates what will be visible on the feed.

Why there? Well, because people prefer to watch – and this is what the statistics say. In 2021 YouTube had 2.3 billion users worldwide. In the Netherlands, there were 9 million YouTube users last year. So if you run a business and you want to be a known brand, it is time to think about a YouTube channel. 

Let’s get one very important thing straight first – you don’t have to be an influencer right away and your YouTube channel doesn’t have to have a million subscriptions. You can use this platform as an additional tool to promote your brand, product, or service. But…. be creative with it! 

Why is it worth having a company channel on YouTube?

First of all, video helps to make a decision; Customers very often have trouble deciding where to buy a product. Often before buying they check opinions, and look for additional information. So how to convince customers to buy your product? Through videos about the product. This will result in the fact that people with a broken car are more likely to make a call to you because they saw that you know your job.

On the other hand, if you run a car dealership, and sell cool cars – you can run a YouTube channel showing unique cars. Do you have a classic car in your collection, or maybe a sports car that many people can only dream about? Make a YouTube video about it; show the benefits, show the details, show what makes it special, do a test drive, or maybe organize a test drive with your subscriber. Everything starts with a conversation. 

Since you’re thinking about introducing video to your business, you already have a mini idea in your head. You know more or less what you want, but… only you know. That’s why a conversation with the production team is very important. You need to tell us about your idea, maybe you have some inspiration, you have seen something from another company and you would like to try it too. Visualize your idea as much as you can.   

At the first meeting, we want to talk. That’s why the first conversation is free. We want to get to know your vision, budget, and initial turnaround time. We also want to give you some tips and our ideas.

After such a conversation it will be much easier for us to prepare an offer for you, propose a script, think about the time we need for shooting and about many other aspects. 

Many things “depend on”…. something.  

When you watch various cool videos on the Internet, you don’t really think about how much time it took to produce a few seconds of video. When you watch an episode on YouTube you see already finished material. You do not think about the fact that recording it could have taken even a few days. 

That is why the information you give us is important to us. It determines, for example:

– how many days we need for recording, 

– if we need to prepare the scenery beforehand

– how many and in which locations we will record

– what equipment we have to prepare

In our company, every project has its own script. Even if it has to be very basic, described in just a few points – it is still a script. Why is it so important? First of all, thanks to it, we will not forget anything. A script is also your notes – write down everything you want to say, and show. With this support on paper, you will feel much more confident! We arrive at the site, set up the equipment and begin recording.

Finally, we meet on location. But before we start recording, we have to set everything up first. So the camera operator needs at least half an hour to prepare the cameras, set up the lights, connect the microphones and check everything. 

Consider that every change of location is also a change of light and camera settings. We take care of every detail, because we want your video to be on a high level. Therefore, even such a seemingly small detail as adjusting the lamp is very important for the final result. 

Is everything set up? Is everybody ready? Lights, camera, action – we start recording.

Video editing – what you should know.   

In fact, the most time-consuming process is editing. After one full day of recording, we have a lot of material to check. We have to watch it all carefully first, then choose the most important and best moments. In short, we have to set the preliminary structure of the video. And this is just the beginning. 

To make your video interesting, we also need to find the right music for it and match it with your video. There are also other effects such as transitions, colors, subtitles, or sound effects. Everything is chosen according to the project, that’s why we approach each order individually. We select all the elements so that the final video flows with your flow. 

Video version ready for viewing – time for your feedback

When our first video version is ready, we send it to you. If you have any changes, something you would like to add or remove, something you don’t like – this is the moment to tell us about it. 

Remember that the amount of changes is included in the offer. If you want to make any changes, describe exactly what you don’t like and how you would like to change it. The more specific information you give us, the easier and faster we can make changes to the video. 

Video ready – we send it to you!

When everything is ready and the final version has been approved by you, you will receive the finished video from us. We can send it to you via a link from which you download it. But we can also save it on an external drive that you share with us, or make it available on our channels or yours if we can temporarily access it.

Hmmm…. That’s like asking how much does it cost to build a house? The answer is one – it depends on the project. Can I get a free quote/project pricing?

Of course, you can! The offer is prepared for each project individually. Many aspects depend on something. For example, it depends on the number of recording days, equipment, scenography, additions such as a voiceover, and many other details. That is why we encourage you to make an appointment with us for a free meeting or a video call. We can then discuss your project and idea, which will allow us to prepare a personalized offer.

How long does it take to shoot a video?

It all depends on the script and the project. That’s why talking about the project is so important, because on the basis of it we prepare a script, which allows us to determine how long the shooting will take. We are able to shoot most of the formats in one working day, while larger projects, such as those with several locations, may require several days a week. 

How much time does it take to edit a video? 

We’ll say it again, but that also depends. Among other things, it depends on the type of material shot, whether the final version of the video needs to be subtitled in another language or if a voiceover needs to be recorded under the video. It also depends on how many corrections you make to the project and how much additional time we will have to dedicate to them. The simplest ideas can be delivered to you within a few days.

Do you produce videos in Dutch?

Absolutely! We have already done several projects for our Dutch clients, you can find them in our portfolio. We don’t want to be limited to one language, so our social media communication is in English.

Do I have the opportunity to correct the video?

Yes, of course. We always offer at least one revision of the project so that you can make corrections to the video if necessary. The number of revisions is specified in the contract. Any additional revisions generate costs and increase the turnaround time.

Can I propose music for my film myself? 

Yes, you can propose music for your film, but keep in mind that using popular songs can be expensive. We will choose a few songs in a similar style that you suggest.

If the music is chosen by the editor, the costs are already included in the film price.

Can the video have subtitles in another language?  

Yes, of course. If your video will be in Dutch, we can add English or Dutch subtitles. And vice versa. We can also prepare subtitles in other languages. Such subtitles can be included directly in the video or be prepared to upload for example on YouTube. 

Can live streaming be saved?

Yes, we can save a copy of the broadcast and send it to you. You will be able to share the saved broadcast anywhere you want, for example, save it to your YouTube channel.  

Can the live streaming be watched later? 

Yes, if the broadcast has been recorded, saved, and made available for viewing. 

What platforms can I choose for live video?

Live video can be broadcast on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, LinkedIn, Google Meet, Zoom and any other platform that uses the appropriate data transmission protocol. When creating a live event, we get the address and key used for a specific broadcast from the platform.

Can live streaming be accessed for a fee?

Live streaming can be free and paid. It is all up to you. You can arrange to sell access to the live stream and provide a special link to people who have paid. This is something similar to standard event tickets, only you sell them online.  

Can I broadcast on several platforms at the same time?

Yes, it is possible. We can broadcast your live video to several platforms at once. For example, on YouTube and Facebook at the same time, or on other platforms that allow this option. There are various technical issues involved, which we will need to discuss together in terms of which platforms you choose.  

Do I have to give you my social media password to do a live stream? 

You don’t need to give us your password, but for some social channels, in order for us to connect the camera to your feed, you will need to log in to your profile on our equipment. These are technical issues that we will be happy to explain to you during the call. 

But don’t worry, we don’t need to know this password and it will never be saved by us. However, we recommend that you change the password to a new one for the time of the broadcast, and then immediately change it back to the original password after the transmission. 

How much does live streaming cost? 

The prices for live streaming services depend on the order and the location. The price for one hour of live streaming starts from €200. We prepare each offer according to the order. Please write to us and give us more details about your live stream and we will prepare a free, yet non-binding offer for you. 

In which cities in the Netherlands do you work?

We focus on the area around Utrecht and Eindhoven, but we are not limited to these regions. We will be happy to visit you in other places throughout the Netherlands.

Decided to go live streaming but completely unsure where to start? Read some of our tips on how to prepare for your first live video on social media. 

Plan what your live will be about – write down the title and take notes! 

Before you sit down in front of the camera, think about what you are going to talk about. Write down the key points that will help you lead the broadcast. Write down all the key words you want to talk about. Let your notes be like road signs for you. They will help you not to stray from the main topic during your live broadcast.

No idea for live streaming? You get the best topics for live video every day from your clients. Read their feedback or frequently asked questions. 

Prepare a place where you will host a live video

Make sure you have a comfortable place, preferably in as much natural light as possible. Check what will be behind you, if there are any unnecessary things. Remove or cover anything that should not be in the frame of your camera. Also prepare something to drink, it will come in handy. 

Check the equipment – lights, camera, microphone. 

Set up your recording equipment, place your phone or camera on a tripod or other stable mount. Check that the battery is charged and all cables are connected. Set up extra lights and be sure to turn on your microphone. Ah, and of course make sure you are connected to the internet – that’s the most important thing! 

You don’t have to have a professional crew taking care of the technical side of your live video right away…. But such a crew will definitely make things easier and save you stress

Make the thumbnail before the live broadcast starts.

If you already know that you will want to save your live on instagram, then you will find this #livehack useful. Prepare a thumbnail that you will use later to promote your live. It can be a photo, it can be a project made in Canva, for example. It’s important to have such a thumbnail already saved in your camera roll so that you can use it as a thumbnail for your live video later on.

Mute notifications but set your watch. 

Mute any notifications that might distract you. Especially if you use your phone during your broadcast. You don’t want a notification to interrupt your live stream.
