Promotievideo geproduceerd voor een opleidingsbedrijf

Bij de voorbereiding van de productie van deze promotievideo moesten we er rekening mee houden dat we de video in twee verschillende formaten (verticaal en horizontaal) zouden opnemen en dat deze in drie verschillende talen zou worden opgenomen. We moesten dus alles heel goed plannen en ervoor zorgen dat elke opname ook perfect zou zijn voor de versie voor sociale media. 

In deze promotievideo moesten we de ruimtes laten zien waar de trainingen plaatsvinden, maar ook het team dat het bedrijf vormt. Het team dat lacht, machines in actie, creatieve bewerkingen – dat waren de belangrijkste punten van deze video.

Het belangrijkste doel van deze video was om een complete badkamerrenovatie te laten zien en om de service van het bedrijf te tonen: van ontwerp, via de selectie van geschikte materialen en accessoires, tot een totale badkamerrenovatie. 

Productie van een promotievideo in een restaurant voor een accountantskantoor

Als je deze video zonder geluid zou bekijken, zou je denken dat het een reclame voor een restaurant is. Maar in feite is het een video over de diensten die een accountantskantoor aanbiedt. De eigenaar van het bedrijf kwam met dit creatieve idee naar ons toe en we waren er meteen gek op!

Momenteel de meest populaire vorm van content in het algemeen is de podcast. Gesprekken met interessante mensen, interviews. Podcasts met video zijn geweldig op YouTube. En recente nieuwsberichten zeggen dat zelfs YouTube een speciale sectie maakt voor podcasts om hun makers nieuwe mogelijkheden te geven.  

Je kunt dit type video inzetten voor elk bedrijf. Je kunt ook zelf een podcast hosten, als specialist in je branche. 

TIP: Maak korte video’s van de hele podcast, met de meest interessante stukken, en plaats ze op je sociale media ( noodzakelijk met ondertiteling). 

Video handleidingen

Zijn videotutorials geweldig voor elk bedrijf? Zeker voor veel ervan. Videotutorials werken geweldig voor de beautybranche; je laat dan stap voor stap zien hoe je bijvoorbeeld avondmake-up doet. 

Video tutorials werken ook goed als je moeilijke machines, programma’s of systemen maakt. Je kunt je klanten of gewoon je team opleiden. Als je een nieuwe werknemer hebt die moet leren hoe hij een machine moet gebruiken, kun je hem een videotutorial laten zien, waar hij altijd naar terug kan komen en opnieuw kan kijken. 

Educatieve video 

Als je wilt laten zien dat er specialisten in je bedrijf zijn, of misschien ben je er zelf een, dan zijn videotutorials een goede keuze. Met inhoud die is afgestemd op de problemen van je klanten, kun je laten zien dat je weet hoe je ze kunt helpen. Of gewoon advies geven over de eerste stappen. 

Nu is tijd van groot belang. Een klant geeft een probleem vaak liever uit handen aan een specialist dan dat hij enkele uren of langer bezig is om het zelf op te lossen. 

TIP: Luister naar je klanten en welke problemen ze hebben. Zij geven je onderwerpen op video, die je daarna kunt opnemen. 

Video achter de schermen – video van binnen het bedrijf

Als je je werkwijze wilt laten zien, de sfeer in je bedrijf, of misschien wil je gewoon transparant zijn en dicht bij je publiek staan, dan is dit type video misschien iets voor je merk. 

Je kunt bijvoorbeeld de backstage van het werk aan een project opnemen. Je zou een video kunnen maken die de verschillende afdelingen in je bedrijf laat zien. Zo’n video kan mensen die nu op zoek zijn naar een baan overtuigen om hun cv naar je bedrijf te sturen. 

Een ander type video dat je kunt maken is om het proces van binnenuit te laten zien. Als je bijvoorbeeld op een milieuvriendelijke manier kleding produceert, zou je een video kunnen maken waarin je laat zien hoe je dat doet, welke materialen je gebruikt, waar je ze vandaan haalt enzovoort. Een video zoals de Case Study zal geweldig zijn als je de effectiviteit van je methoden, acties, praktijken, diensten verder wilt vergroten. Vooral als je er bijvoorbeeld in geslaagd bent een groot project af te ronden en de voltooiing ervan betere resultaten heeft opgeleverd dan je had verwacht. Of als je een ‘onmogelijk’ probleem met succes hebt opgelost. 

Spreek af met een klant waarmee je samen succes hebt bereikt en neem een casestudy op waarin je vertelt hoe het proces ging. 

In welke branche zou een video case study goed zijn? In de IT-industrie, bij marketing- en reclamebureaus. Maar ook in de beautybranche; bijvoorbeeld een video met een klant waarin de oplossing voor een huidprobleem wordt getoond. 

TIP: Vergeet niet dat een video case study begrijpelijk moet zijn voor een potentiële nieuwe klant. Het moet ook worden ingedeeld in een inleiding, ontwikkeling en conclusie. Vergeet niet de chronologie van de gebeurtenissen zoveel mogelijk aan te houden. Vermijd woorden die mogelijk te specifiek zijn voor alleen je branche.

Met video kun je je product beter tonen, de details ervan benadrukken en wat het onderscheidt. Why there? Well, because people prefer to watch – and this is what the statistics say. In 2021 YouTube had 2.3 billion users worldwide. In the Netherlands, there were 9 million YouTube users last year. So if you run a business and you want to be a known brand, it is time to think about a YouTube channel. 

Let’s get one very important thing straight first – you don’t have to be an influencer right away and your YouTube channel doesn’t have to have a million subscriptions. You can use this platform as an additional tool to promote your brand, product, or service. But…. be creative with it! 

Why is it worth having a company channel on YouTube?

First of all, video helps to make a decision; Customers very often have trouble deciding where to buy a product. Often before buying they check opinions, and look for additional information. So how to convince customers to buy your product? Through videos about the product. This will allow you to show the product more clearly, highlight its advantages, and show the design and detailing – give the customer more than just a picture on the website.

Example: you have a fashion store. How can you use YouTube in the fashion industry? 

→ By creating content about the clothing of course. On your YouTube channel, you can publish a video in which you explain how to combine various colors and patterns, how to create trendy outfits, give advice on how to dress for special occasions such as a wedding, and show the latest trends. Use clothes from your store and leave links to them in your YouTube description. People are buying with their eyes – give your customers inspiration and they will visit your store.

If you have decided to have a company channel on YouTube, make sure you have good quality video content. Don’t just focus on selling. Show what makes your company different – think about such video content that will give value to your audience. Be natural, transparent, and show that behind your brand are cool, creative people. Show your real side, if you are fake and your content is not real – viewers will notice it quickly. 

Example: you have a car garage or you sell cars. How do you use YouTube in the automotive industry?

→ The cars category is one of the popular categories of watched videos on YouTube. If you are a mechanic you can create video content with instructions; how to fix something, how to improve something, and how to replace something. Additionally, you will highlight your authority and show that you really are a specialist. This will result in the fact that people with a broken car are more likely to make a call to you because they saw that you know your job.

On the other hand, if you run a car dealership, and sell cool cars – you can run a YouTube channel showing unique cars. Do you have a classic car in your collection, or maybe a sports car that many people can only dream about? Make a YouTube video about it; show the benefits, show the details, show what makes it special, do a test drive, or maybe organize a test drive with your subscriber. A YouTube channel is a perfect idea if you are in the automotive business. 

Third, by creating content on YouTube, you generate new reach;

Interesting video content that you publish on your YouTube channel can reach new audiences. Additionally, if your video appeals to viewers and they start sharing it, it can result in even greater visibility. Videos shared by viewers can generate better profits than video advertising. By using video marketing, for example by posting videos on your company’s YouTube channel, you also support search engine positioning.

If someone searches Google for the name of your brand or your product, there is a good chance that they will come across your content from various channels; your website will appear, your company’s Google business card will appear, and perhaps your LinkedIn profile, but perhaps a YouTube episode will also appear. In addition, a brand channel on YouTube will also help you reach your target audience faster. 

One video made for a YouTube channel can be used in many ways; 

No one said that a video made strictly for YouTube has to be used only on that platform. If you have recorded an episode for your channel, you can now create mini versions for other social media. From such an episode, you can make a short video for YouTube Short or Instagram.

Additionally, you can do an Instagram Reel showing backstage. As if that wasn’t enough, you can cut out some of the most interesting moments from the video and create a video ad for Facebook. Find a host, think of interesting guests, and create a set or mini recording studio (it can even be a corner in your warehouse). The whole show can be produced under your brand name, about topics in your industry – and you as the owner don’t have to show up in front of the camera at all. 

What you should know before starting a company YouTube channel; 

• a YouTube channel is a long-term project; you need to prepare scripts, sets, maybe organize a production crew [check our services], set deadlines and maybe do some other things

• a YouTube channel is a great solution for brands whose audience spends time on this platform. So if you want to reach a very specific but young audience with your services or products, being a brand on YouTube can help you do that

• if you build an engaged YouTube channel, you may find that more brands or companies will want to work with you. You can start new projects this way or introduce sponsored segments

• it’s a good idea to publish video content on YouTube regularly; set a publication schedule in advance, for example, once a week, always on the same day. This will allow your audience to get used to the fact that there is always a new episode on your channel on Tuesday at 18:00. So you can record several episodes in one or more days and publish them regularly over the following weeks

• you can also monetize your YouTube channel; to do this, you need to join the YouTube affiliate program. You can then generate income from the ads that will be displayed while watching the episode. However, there are some special requirements that you need to meet, such as having more than 1000 subscribers to your channel

As you can see, having a company YouTube channel can be really useful. Especially if you want your brand to be recognized by a young audience. There is also a place for you on YouTube – think about what kind of content you could publish on this platform.

Everything starts with a conversation. 

Since you’re thinking about introducing video to your business, you already have a mini idea in your head. You know more or less what you want, but… only you know. That’s why a conversation with the production team is very important. You need to tell us about your idea, maybe you have some inspiration, you have seen something from another company and you would like to try it too. Visualize your idea as much as you can.   

At the first meeting, we want to talk. That’s why the first conversation is free. We want to get to know your vision, budget, and initial turnaround time. We also want to give you some tips and our ideas.

After such a conversation it will be much easier for us to prepare an offer for you, propose a script, think about the time we need for shooting and about many other aspects. 

Many things “depend on”…. something.  

When you watch various cool videos on the Internet, you don’t really think about how much time it took to produce a few seconds of video. When you watch an episode on YouTube you see already finished material. You do not think about the fact that recording it could have taken even a few days. 

That is why the information you give us is important to us. It determines, for example:

– how many days we need for recording, 

– if we need to prepare the scenery beforehand

– how many and in which locations we will record

– what equipment we have to prepare

In our company, every project has its own script. Even if it has to be very basic, described in just a few points – it is still a script. Why is it so important? First of all, thanks to it, we will not forget anything. A script is also your notes – write down everything you want to say, and show. With this support on paper, you will feel much more confident! It also helps to keep your schedule on track so that you get it all done.

We arrive at the site, set up the equipment and begin recording.

Finally, we meet on location. But before we start recording, we have to set everything up first. So the camera operator needs at least half an hour to prepare the cameras, set up the lights, connect the microphones and check everything. 

Consider that every change of location is also a change of light and camera settings. We take care of every detail, because we want your video to be on a high level. Therefore, even such a seemingly small detail as adjusting the lamp is very important for the final result. 

Is everything set up? Is everybody ready? Lights, camera, action – we start recording.

Video editing – what you should know.   

In fact, the most time-consuming process is editing. After one full day of recording, we have a lot of material to check. We have to watch it all carefully first, then choose the most important and best moments. In short, we have to set the preliminary structure of the video. And this is just the beginning. 

To make your video interesting, we also need to find the right music for it and match it with your video. There are also other effects such as transitions, colors, subtitles, or sound effects. Everything is chosen according to the project, that’s why we approach each order individually. We select all the elements so that the final video flows with your flow. 

Video version ready for viewing – time for your feedback

When our first video version is ready, we send it to you. If you have any changes, something you would like to add or remove, something you don’t like – this is the moment to tell us about it. 

Remember that the amount of changes is included in the offer. If you want to make any changes, describe exactly what you don’t like and how you would like to change it. The more specific information you give us, the easier and faster we can make changes to the video. 

Video ready – we send it to you!

When everything is ready and the final version has been approved by you, you will receive the finished video from us. We can send it to you via a link from which you download it. But we can also save it on an external drive that you share with us, or make it available on our channels or yours if we can temporarily access it.

How much does a video cost?

Hmmm…. That’s like asking how much does it cost to build a house? The answer is one – it depends on the project. In our offer “Video & Live Services” you will find prepared packages with price information. The final price depends on the project you want to realize. You can make a free appointment to speak with us about your video ideas. 

Can I get a free quote/project pricing?

Of course, you can! The offer is prepared for each project individually. Many aspects depend on something. For example, it depends on the number of recording days, equipment, scenography, additions such as a voiceover, and many other details. That is why we encourage you to make an appointment with us for a free meeting or a video call. We can then discuss your project and idea, which will allow us to prepare a personalized offer.

How long does it take to shoot a video?

It all depends on the script and the project. That’s why talking about the project is so important, because on the basis of it we prepare a script, which allows us to determine how long the shooting will take. We are able to shoot most of the formats in one working day, while larger projects, such as those with several locations, may require several days a week. 

How much time does it take to edit a video? 

We’ll say it again, but that also depends. Among other things, it depends on the type of material shot, whether the final version of the video needs to be subtitled in another language or if a voiceover needs to be recorded under the video. It also depends on how many corrections you make to the project and how much additional time we will have to dedicate to them. The simplest ideas can be delivered to you within a few days.

Do you produce videos in Dutch?

Absolutely! We have already done several projects for our Dutch clients, you can find them in our portfolio. We don’t want to be limited to one language, so our social media communication is in English.

Do I have the opportunity to correct the video?

Yes, of course. We always offer at least one revision of the project so that you can make corrections to the video if necessary. The number of revisions is specified in the contract. Any additional revisions generate costs and increase the turnaround time.

Can I propose music for my film myself? 

Yes, you can propose music for your film, but keep in mind that using popular songs can be expensive. We will choose a few songs in a similar style that you suggest.

If the music is chosen by the editor, the costs are already included in the film price.

Can the video have subtitles in another language?  

Yes, of course. If your video will be in Dutch, we can add English or Dutch subtitles. And vice versa. We can also prepare subtitles in other languages. Such subtitles can be included directly in the video or be prepared to upload for example on YouTube. 

Can live streaming be saved?

Yes, we can save a copy of the broadcast and send it to you. You will be able to share the saved broadcast anywhere you want, for example, save it to your YouTube channel.  

Can the live streaming be watched later? 

Yes, if the broadcast has been recorded, saved, and made available for viewing. 

What platforms can I choose for live video?

Live video can be broadcast on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, LinkedIn, Google Meet, Zoom and any other platform that uses the appropriate data transmission protocol. When creating a live event, we get the address and key used for a specific broadcast from the platform.

Can live streaming be accessed for a fee?

Live streaming can be free and paid. It is all up to you. You can arrange to sell access to the live stream and provide a special link to people who have paid. This is something similar to standard event tickets, only you sell them online.  

Can I broadcast on several platforms at the same time?

Yes, it is possible. We can broadcast your live video to several platforms at once. For example, on YouTube and Facebook at the same time, or on other platforms that allow this option. There are various technical issues involved, which we will need to discuss together in terms of which platforms you choose.  

Do I have to give you my social media password to do a live stream? 

You don’t need to give us your password, but for some social channels, in order for us to connect the camera to your feed, you will need to log in to your profile on our equipment. These are technical issues that we will be happy to explain to you during the call. 

But don’t worry, we don’t need to know this password and it will never be saved by us. However, we recommend that you change the password to a new one for the time of the broadcast, and then immediately change it back to the original password after the transmission. 

How much does live streaming cost? 

The prices for live streaming services depend on the order and the location. The price for one hour of live streaming starts from €200. We prepare each offer according to the order. Please write to us and give us more details about your live stream and we will prepare a free, yet non-binding offer for you. 

In which cities in the Netherlands do you work?

We focus on the area around Utrecht and Eindhoven, but we are not limited to these regions. We will be happy to visit you in other places throughout the Netherlands.

Do we travel to customers abroad? 

Yes, but only to the western part of Germany and throughout Belgium.
