Zorg ervoor dat je profiel op Instagram openbaar openbaar kunnen zijn. Veel mensen hebben een privéprofiel zonder het te weten. Dan bereiken de berichten die je publiceert geen mensen buiten je volgers. 

Ga naar instellingen. . Selecteer "Instellingen en privacy". Controleer of je profiel openbaar openbaar kunnen zijn.

Als je een bedrijf runt, is het een goed idee om over te stappen op een zakelijke account. 

Hierdoor heb je bijvoorbeeld een beter zicht op statistieken en kun je je winkel activeren op Instagram (als je een online winkel hebt). Meer informatie daarover vind je hier: business.instagram.com/getting-started 

Schakel de optie in om video's in hoge kwaliteit te uploaden.

De kwaliteit van je content op Instagram is belangrijk. Dus als je een video van hoge kwaliteit van ons hebt ontvangen, is het de moeite waard om die kwaliteit op Instagram te houden. 

Hoe doe je dat? Ga naar instellingen. Selecteer "Instellingen en privacy". Selecteer "Mediakwaliteit". Controleer of de optie om video in hoge kwaliteit toe te voegen is ingeschakeld.

1. Video's rechtstreeks vanuit de app toevoegen. 

Hierdoor kun je profiteren van de extra instellingen die de app biedt, vooral Instagram. Open de Instagram-app om een video toe te voegen en selecteer "Reel" in de strook. Het is heel belangrijk dat je de video in deze categorie toevoegt.

2. Voeg een beschrijving en hashtags toe. 

Het is altijd een goed idee om een beschrijving toe te voegen aan je video. Zo kun je klanten extra informatie geven, de video beschrijven of op zijn minst schrijven hoe ze contact met je kunnen opnemen. Het is belangrijk dat je eerste zin interessant is, zodat de kijker de rest van de tekst wil lezen.

Vergeet niet om je tekst leesbaar te maken. Je kunt ook emoticons toevoegen. Voeg ook hashtags toe die passen bij het thema van de video of je bedrijf. Je hoeft niet veel hashtags toe te voegen, maar als je ze eenmaal hebt gekozen, is het een goed idee om ze te kiezen op basis van je doelgroep.  

Onthoud dat je op Instagram maximaal 30 hashtags kunt toevoegen, maar soms zijn 10 hashtags al genoeg.

3. Tag mensen of andere bedrijven en voeg een contactknop toe. 

Als je mensen in de video wilt taggen, doe je dat op het "Mensen taggen". tabblad 

Je hebt hier twee opties; 

• een tag toevoegen; het profiel van de getagde persoon is te zien in de tag in de video
• invite collaborators; als het profiel je uitnodiging accepteert, verschijnt je video ook op hun feed op Instagram. *Dit is een optie die alleen beschikbaar is als je video's toevoegt via de Instagram-app. 

Je kunt ook een contactknop toevoegen die zichtbaar is onder je video in het bericht. Dit is een geweldige call-to-action, waardoor de kijker je meteen een bericht kan sturen en iets kan vragen. *Dit is een optie die alleen beschikbaar is als je video's toevoegt via de Instagram-app. 

4. Voeg onderwerpen toe die helpen om je video af te stemmen op de kijkers. 

Dus als je video bijvoorbeeld over kleding gaat, kies dan categorieën die bij dat onderwerp passen. Op die manier is de kans groot , dat algoritmes je video laten zien aan mensen die hoogstwaarschijnlijk geïnteresseerd zijn in je inhoud.  *Dit is een optie die alleen beschikbaar is als je video's toevoegt via de Instagram-app.

5. Kies een locatie en laat de video ook op Facebook verschijnen 

Het is de moeite waard om in de locatie aan te geven in welke stad je bent. Dus als je bedrijf een adres heeft in Amsterdam, kun je gewoon de stad of je volledige adres aangeven in de locatie. 

Momenteel is er op Instagram ook een optie genaamd "Aanbevolen op Facebook".

Als je deze optie aanvinkt, verschijnt je video ook in Reels search en kan Facebook hem laten zien aan mensen die op dat platform zitten. 

BELANGRIJK:dit betekent niet dat je video ook op je Facebookpagina wordt getoond. 

Het is de moeite waard om ervoor te zorgen dat je feed visueel aantrekkelijk en leesbaar is voor de gebruiker. Je feed is tenslotte de eerste indruk die je maakt op je nieuwe publiek, en dus ook op je klanten. 

Wanneer je reels toevoegt aan Instagram, kun je een miniatuur kiezen en deze aanpassen zodat hij er goed uitziet in zowel verticaal als vierkant formaat.

Hoe doe je dat? 

Klik op "Omslag bewerken" en je komt in een nieuw venster waar je een miniatuur kunt toevoegen. 

Hier heb je twee opties: 

• een thumbnail kiezen uit een frame van de video
• of voeg een miniatuur toe die je eerder hebt gemaakt en opgeslagen op je telefoon 

Pas vervolgens de miniatuur aan, zodat de belangrijkste informatie/elementen in het vierkant staan. Het vierkant geeft aan wat zichtbaar zal zijn op de feed.

What does branding mean? Let’s start with the basics. 

Branding… the easiest way is to compare it to clothes. What you wear represents you. What are your favorite colors, patterns, materials. Your clothes create you. Similarly, everything you do around the brand creates the brand. 

In building a brand, attention to detail is paid. The logo, the colors, the font, the style of communication. These are the contents, which when someone sees in a second will know from which company they come. So everything you put on or around your business – this is a method of branding. 

If you run a company, then you surely already have a company name and a logo. This is where every business owner starts. Take a look at your logo, maybe it needs a little refreshing. If you are missing an element that will make you stand out, it may be worth adding it. Take a look at our logo, there is a lens on the ribbon. This element is also blue – just like the design elements on our website or social media. We want blue to be associated with Multiflow Media. 

Branding is a collection of different elements. Video is one of those items. 

Content creation is one of the most important parts of a modern brand. If you do nothing in your marketing efforts – how are people supposed to find out about your brand? Of course, whisper marketing is great, but what if you want to reach new audiences or customers? It’s worth just thinking about video. Why? 

In branding, it is important to show what makes your brand stand out and what makes you unique. Video branding is thoughtful content that goes with the rhythm of the brand. This is content that grabs the viewer’s attention, but does not directly talk about selling a product or service. 

Thanks to video, you can show more. So it’s worth rethinking your video marketing strategy and creating something around your brand. 

Here are some ideas for video branding: 

Periodic video webinars; the topic of such a webinar is up to you, choose it according to the interests of your audience. Share your knowledge, inspire and motivate.

If you are a hairdresser – it might be interesting to talk about how to take care of a particular type of hair. Do you produce your products – then you can talk about your industry from the inside, how the whole process looks like and what problems you have to face. 

Video interviews with guests; as a brand, you can open your interview corner and invite guests from the same or other industries. These can be business talks, fashion talks, conversations about healthy eating. In fact, you as the host decide on the structure of such a mini talk-show. 

You can prepare a mini studio for recording, put there the colors representing your brand and other details that will be associated with you. You won’t be selling products right away, but you will be remembered for creating interesting video content. 

Video content around what you do; if, for example, you are an interior designer, then surely video tips will be at the top. You can create your own mini program and show how you turn the usual homes into your clients’ dream projects. 

This way you show not only how you work, but also give advice like “what kind of countertop to choose for the kitchen?”. You can create such video tips on many topics. You can also use products from your company and create content around them. This way you also make yourself known and show your flow.  

Take care of the quality of the content and form. 

Branding is a well-thought-out activity, selected for the brand. So take care of the high quality of your content and form. Such details as image and sound quality are very important. After all, you don’t want your viewer to turn off the video because there will be annoying sound in it.  

Design; that is, the choice of colors for the brand, the logo, the feed on Instagram, the website. These should all be common. Instead of inserting photos from the manufacturer that you can see are fake, try to make them yourself.

Why there? Well, because people prefer to watch – and this is what the statistics say. In 2021 YouTube had 2.3 billion users worldwide. In the Netherlands, there were 9 million YouTube users last year. So if you run a business and you want to be a known brand, it is time to think about a YouTube channel. 

Let’s get one very important thing straight first – you don’t have to be an influencer right away and your YouTube channel doesn’t have to have a million subscriptions. You can use this platform as an additional tool to promote your brand, product, or service. But…. be creative with it! 

Why is it worth having a company channel on YouTube?

First of all, video helps to make a decision; Customers very often have trouble deciding where to buy a product. Often before buying they check opinions, and look for additional information. So how to convince customers to buy your product? Through videos about the product. Everything starts with a conversation. 

Since you’re thinking about introducing video to your business, you already have a mini idea in your head. You know more or less what you want, but… only you know. That’s why a conversation with the production team is very important. You need to tell us about your idea, maybe you have some inspiration, you have seen something from another company and you would like to try it too. Visualize your idea as much as you can.   

At the first meeting, we want to talk. That’s why the first conversation is free. We want to get to know your vision, budget, and initial turnaround time. We also want to give you some tips and our ideas.

After such a conversation it will be much easier for us to prepare an offer for you, propose a script, think about the time we need for shooting and about many other aspects. 

Many things “depend on”…. something.  

When you watch various cool videos on the Internet, you don’t really think about how much time it took to produce a few seconds of video. When you watch an episode on YouTube you see already finished material. You do not think about the fact that recording it could have taken even a few days. 

That is why the information you give us is important to us. It determines, for example:

– how many days we need for recording, 

– if we need to prepare the scenery beforehand

– how many and in which locations we will record

– what equipment we have to prepare

In our company, every project has its own script. Even if it has to be very basic, described in just a few points – it is still a script. Why is it so important? We arrive at the site, set up the equipment and begin recording.

Finally, we meet on location. But before we start recording, we have to set everything up first. So the camera operator needs at least half an hour to prepare the cameras, set up the lights, connect the microphones and check everything. 

Consider that every change of location is also a change of light and camera settings. We take care of every detail, because we want your video to be on a high level. Therefore, even such a seemingly small detail as adjusting the lamp is very important for the final result. 

Is everything set up? Is everybody ready? Lights, camera, action – we start recording.

Video editing – what you should know.   

In fact, the most time-consuming process is editing. After one full day of recording, we have a lot of material to check. We have to watch it all carefully first, then choose the most important and best moments. In short, we have to set the preliminary structure of the video. And this is just the beginning. 

To make your video interesting, we also need to find the right music for it and match it with your video. There are also other effects such as transitions, colors, subtitles, or sound effects. Everything is chosen according to the project, that’s why we approach each order individually. We select all the elements so that the final video flows with your flow. 

Video version ready for viewing – time for your feedback

When our first video version is ready, we send it to you. If you have any changes, something you would like to add or remove, something you don’t like – this is the moment to tell us about it. 

Remember that the amount of changes is included in the offer. If you want to make any changes, describe exactly what you don’t like and how you would like to change it. The more specific information you give us, the easier and faster we can make changes to the video. 

Video ready – we send it to you!

When everything is ready and the final version has been approved by you, you will receive the finished video from us. We can send it to you via a link from which you download it. How much does a video cost?

Hmmm…. That’s like asking how much does it cost to build a house? The answer is one – it depends on the project. In our offer “Video & Live Services” you will find prepared packages with price information. The final price depends on the project you want to realize. You can make a free appointment to speak with us about your video ideas. 

Can I get a free quote/project pricing?

Of course, you can! The offer is prepared for each project individually. Many aspects depend on something. For example, it depends on the number of recording days, equipment, scenography, additions such as a voiceover, and many other details. That is why we encourage you to make an appointment with us for a free meeting or a video call. We can then discuss your project and idea, which will allow us to prepare a personalized offer.

How long does it take to shoot a video?

It all depends on the script and the project. That’s why talking about the project is so important, because on the basis of it we prepare a script, which allows us to determine how long the shooting will take. We are able to shoot most of the formats in one working day, while larger projects, such as those with several locations, may require several days a week. 

How much time does it take to edit a video? 

We’ll say it again, but that also depends. Among other things, it depends on the type of material shot, whether the final version of the video needs to be subtitled in another language or if a voiceover needs to be recorded under the video. It also depends on how many corrections you make to the project and how much additional time we will have to dedicate to them. The simplest ideas can be delivered to you within a few days.

Do you produce videos in Dutch?

Absolutely! We have already done several projects for our Dutch clients, you can find them in our portfolio. We don’t want to be limited to one language, so our social media communication is in English.

Do I have the opportunity to correct the video?

Yes, of course. We always offer at least one revision of the project so that you can make corrections to the video if necessary. The number of revisions is specified in the contract. Any additional revisions generate costs and increase the turnaround time.

Can I propose music for my film myself? 

Yes, you can propose music for your film, but keep in mind that using popular songs can be expensive. We will choose a few songs in a similar style that you suggest.

If the music is chosen by the editor, the costs are already included in the film price.

Can the video have subtitles in another language?  

Yes, of course. If your video will be in Dutch, we can add English or Dutch subtitles. And vice versa. We can also prepare subtitles in other languages. Such subtitles can be included directly in the video or be prepared to upload for example on YouTube. 

Can live streaming be saved?

Yes, we can save a copy of the broadcast and send it to you. You will be able to share the saved broadcast anywhere you want, for example, save it to your YouTube channel.  

Can the live streaming be watched later? 

Yes, if the broadcast has been recorded, saved, and made available for viewing. 

What platforms can I choose for live video?

Live video can be broadcast on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, LinkedIn, Google Meet, Zoom and any other platform that uses the appropriate data transmission protocol. When creating a live event, we get the address and key used for a specific broadcast from the platform.

Can live streaming be accessed for a fee?

Live streaming can be free and paid. It is all up to you. You can arrange to sell access to the live stream and provide a special link to people who have paid. This is something similar to standard event tickets, only you sell them online.  

Can I broadcast on several platforms at the same time?

Yes, it is possible. We can broadcast your live video to several platforms at once. For example, on YouTube and Facebook at the same time, or on other platforms that allow this option. There are various technical issues involved, which we will need to discuss together in terms of which platforms you choose.  

Do I have to give you my social media password to do a live stream? 

You don’t need to give us your password, but for some social channels, in order for us to connect the camera to your feed, you will need to log in to your profile on our equipment. These are technical issues that we will be happy to explain to you during the call. 

But don’t worry, we don’t need to know this password and it will never be saved by us. However, we recommend that you change the password to a new one for the time of the broadcast, and then immediately change it back to the original password after the transmission. 

How much does live streaming cost? 

The prices for live streaming services depend on the order and the location. The price for one hour of live streaming starts from €200. We prepare each offer according to the order. Please write to us and give us more details about your live stream and we will prepare a free, yet non-binding offer for you. 

In which cities in the Netherlands do you work?

We focus on the area around Utrecht and Eindhoven, but we are not limited to these regions. We will be happy to visit you in other places throughout the Netherlands.

Decided to go live streaming but completely unsure where to start? Read some of our tips on how to prepare for your first live video on social media. 

Plan what your live will be about – write down the title and take notes! 

Before you sit down in front of the camera, think about what you are going to talk about. Write down the key points that will help you lead the broadcast. Write down all the key words you want to talk about. Let your notes be like road signs for you. They will help you not to stray from the main topic during your live broadcast.

No idea for live streaming? You get the best topics for live video every day from your clients. Read their feedback or frequently asked questions. 

Prepare a place where you will host a live video

Make sure you have a comfortable place, preferably in as much natural light as possible. Check what will be behind you, if there are any unnecessary things. Remove or cover anything that should not be in the frame of your camera. Also prepare something to drink, it will come in handy. 

Check the equipment – lights, camera, microphone. 

Set up your recording equipment, place your phone or camera on a tripod or other stable mount. Check that the battery is charged and all cables are connected. Set up extra lights and be sure to turn on your microphone. Ah, and of course make sure you are connected to the internet – that’s the most important thing! 

You don’t have to have a professional crew taking care of the technical side of your live video right away…. But such a crew will definitely make things easier and save you stress

Make the thumbnail before the live broadcast starts.

It can be a photo, it can be a project made in Canva, for example. It’s important to have such a thumbnail already saved in your camera roll so that you can use it as a thumbnail for your live video later on.

Mute notifications but set your watch. 

Mute any notifications that might distract you. Especially if you use your phone during your broadcast. You don’t want a notification to interrupt your live stream. 

However, it is worth thinking about your watch. If you have planned a live broadcast for 45 minutes, set your watch so that you can make it on time. Preferably 10 minutes ahead of time so you know your broadcast is about to end. Live on Instagram can now last up to 4 hours.
